Who Got Sold for How Much?

School has just started, and our school FFA chapter is busy as usual. One of their major events at this time of year is the Greenhand Chili Supper and Member Auction. Generally what happens at the event is everything from eating chili and chicken soup to the purchasing of members to complete an 8 hour work day for their buyers. You know the FFA chapter has good roots and connections with the local community when they made over $12,000 at the member auction. Let me put it in simpler terms, they had at least three members to my knowledge who sold for $450 or more. Some of the sales were Jordyn Sills at $800, Zane Herr at $625, and Daniel Schriver at $475. But the Member auction isn't the only amazing part of the night, we also installed 14 new members, David Schriver was announced to be the Star Greenhand, and 11 current members obtained their chapter degree.  The two guest speakers of the night were John Jacobs and Sarah Alford, who graduated from Southern Wells in 2003 and 2009 respectively. I spoke with chapter president Jordyn Sills who said, "everything went well and smooth even though they did many new things." The future of our school's FFA chapter is looking bright!
