On Thursday, October 2nd, the Lady Raiders took on the Woodlan Warriors in the Raiders' final conference game and Senior Night. The Raiders battled during the first set losing 25-27. The next two sets didn't fair so well. The Raiders lost set two 20-25 and set three 22-25.
The JV won their first set 25-23, lost the second 17-25, but came back to win the third 15-10.
In the varsity match, Senior Allison Blevins lead with kills having 12, Arrianne Moore, Megan Fiechter, and Megan Horton each had 4, Senior Savannah Deakyne had 3, Senior Lela Knowles and Sydnee Jones had 1. Horton and Blevins each had 1 block. Alexis Collins had 4 aces. Knowles and Savannah Ocasio had 9 digs, Deakyne and Senior Bailey Kohr had 5, Collins and Moore 4, Fiechter and Jones 3, Blevins and Horton 1. Fiechter had 23 assists and Moore and Blevins each contributed 1.
The Raiders will be back in action on Tuesday against Jay County in the ACAC Tournament.
